Represented by the Korea Foundation, the 36-year-old artist arrived at the city’s University of Social Sciences and Humanities in District 1 on January 10 to give ten US$200 scholarships to students from the school’s Korean Studies Department.

After walking around the school, Song addressed his fans, who had waited for hours to see him at the school’s hall, by saying “Hello” and thanking them in Vietnamese.

“This is the first time I’ve been here. After seeing your love, I keep blaming myself for not coming here earlier,” he said.

“I think there will be many more chances for us to meet together,” he added.
